You can join Our Meat CSA at any time during the 30 week period!
We offer a flexible year round meat CSA in various share sizes. We have an amazing group of members and it is one of our goals to keep it growing.
What Is A CSA?
Community-supported agriculture (CSA; sometimes known as community-shared agriculture) is an alternative, locally based economic model of agriculture and food distribution. A CSA also refers to a particular network, or association of individuals, who have pledged to support one or more local farms, with growers and consumers sharing the risks and benefits of food production.
CSA members, or subscribers, pay at the onset of the growing season for a share of the anticipated harvest; once harvesting begins, they periodically receive shares of produce. In addition to produce, some CSA services may include additional farm products like honey, eggs, dairy, fruit, flowers and meat. Some CSAs provide for contributions of labor in lieu of a portion of subscription costs.1
CSA Share Size
We offer four different share sizes: Small ($20/week), Medium ($30/week), Large ($40/week) and X-Large ($50/week). Payments are broken up into three installments. The first one is due upon sign up, on or before your first pick-up. The second payment is due on or before the 11 week mark. The last payment is due on or before the 21 week mark. You may sign up with our CSA by clicking the PayPal button below or you may also use the PayPal button to pay for one of your installments. Leave an optional note to submit with your payment. Your payment will only be made once. It is not a recurring charge that is automatically taken out every 10 weeks.
The weight of the meat for each share will vary depending on the cuts you will receive that week. For example, if you are signed up for the $30 CSA, one week you might get a pound of ground beef and a rump roast. On the following week you may receive one pound of sausage, a steak and a piece of chicken. If you decided on the $40 share you would receive additional cut of meat that week.
You may use this section to join or submit your next payment!
Meat bundles are available for people who don’t want monthly.

CSA Sign Up Details
If you are interested in joining the Lilly Den Farm CSA you can submit the form above –OR– email us what share you would like to purchase into, your name, your address, phone number, and email address. The first payment will be due on or before your first pick-up. We understand that it is hard to come up with the full payment so we have no problem splitting the payment to make it a little more manageable. We are also understanding and are willing to work with you on payments, share size, or any other things that might arise. With that said, if you decide to become a member we are asking for your 100% comment for the entire CSA. The CSA is a great opportunity for Lilly Den to budget finances and product volume. Dropping out in the middle makes it difficult for our business to succeed.
You are welcome to join our CSA at any time during the 30 weeks if there are spaces available. We will prorate the payments so you only pay for the weeks you pick up.
CSA shares are limited. If you are a current CSA member we will be sure not to give up your spot for the next CSA sign up. If you have any questions email or call us at (919) 356-3150 or (919) 356-5330
We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming markets. As always we are there to “meat” your needs!
Your local farmer,
W. Tucker & Mackenzie Withington
